The National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors - Dayton was first organized as the Dayton Association of Life Underwriters (DALU) in March of 1904 when it was admitted as the 33rd association of the National Association of Life Underwriters. However, this first effort only lasted until 1910. In 1915 the Dayton Chapter was reorganized and had 48 members and the chapter attended the national meetings again.
